BAS
Engineering's main purpose is to save energy and reduce costs by
providing a service showing how to effectively maintain existing
process/heating systems by using reports, that are obtained by:
- Studies
- Studies
could include alternative pipe routings, energy audit usage,
and equipment selection for cost effectiveness.
- Inspections
- Inspections
would not only indicate the existing 'conditions' of the total
system by reports but provide the immediate condition of important
equipment. Periodic inspections of the system would then provide
a means of keeping track of the existing 'conditions'. Plans
for future reconstruction and construction cost can then be
developed.
- Energy
Audits
- Energy
Audits (pressure piping) include losses from leaks, excessive
pressure drops, energy losses caused by excessive temperature
changes. A report is then developed.
- Recommendations
- Recommendations,
if required, are normally provided through written reports resulting
from completed inspections.
